Your rental of a vehicle from Prestige Car Rentals is subject to the terms and conditions outlined herein, as well as any additional terms specified in your rental agreement.

Booking and rental period

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. The rental period begins and ends as specified in your booking confirmation. Any changes or extensions must be requested and confirmed in advance.

Driver requirements

Bring a valid driver's license and a valid credit card. The standard rental age is 25 or older; drivers aged 18 to 24 pay an additional fee and have increased deductibles. Confirm the conditions for younger drivers before booking. All drivers must be listed on the rental agreement.

If you use another person's credit card, the cardholder must be present at collection, bring a passport and driver's license, and sign the rental contract. Additional drivers must meet the driver requirements, be named on the agreement and be included in the booking; additional-driver charges apply.

Vehicle use

The rented vehicle must be used in accordance with local laws and regulations and for lawful purposes only. It is strictly prohibited to use the vehicle for racing, off-road driving, towing, or any other unauthorized activities.

Vehicle condition

The renter is responsible for maintaining the rented vehicle in the same condition as at the start of the rental period. Any damage or mechanical issues must be reported to Prestige Car Rentals immediately.

Rental packages and cover

Basic includes TPL, roadside assistance (RA) and the vehicle license recovery fee (VLF), but no collision damage waiver (CDW). Intermediate adds CDW with a deductible. Full adds deductible protection (DP) and tires and windshield cover (T&W), with a US$0 collision deductible for covered traffic accidents. Packages depend on your vehicle, location and dates; check the included cover shown for your selection.

CDW is required for Luxury and Premium SUVs. For other categories, use the packages and separate cover options available for your dates and location. If you rent without CDW, you must acknowledge the security deposit and your responsibility for damage to the rental vehicle before continuing.

Collision damage and deductibles

With CDW and without DP, you pay the estimated repair cost for covered collision damage, up to the deductible for your vehicle category. If the estimate is lower than the deductible, you pay only the lower amount. CDW with DP reduces the collision deductible to US$0 for covered traffic accidents. Coverage remains subject to the rental agreement, its conditions and exclusions.

The standard limits are US$500 for Economy Car, Compact Car and Compact SUV; US$600 for Mid Size SUV and L01 Pick Up; US$800 for Full Size SUV; and US$1,000 for Luxury Full Size SUV, Premium SUV, Luxury Van GAC and Mini Van/Minivan H1. Confirm the deductible for any other category and any increased deductible for drivers aged 18 to 24 in your rental agreement.

Security deposit

A security deposit is required when your selection does not include CDW. It is separate from the rental price and depends on the vehicle category. Choosing a package with CDW, or adding CDW separately when available, removes this deposit requirement. CDW can still have a collision deductible; a deposit and a deductible are different.

Without CDW, the deposit is US$2,000 for Economy Car, US$2,500 for Compact Car, US$3,000 for Compact SUV or Mid Size SUV, US$3,500 for Full Size SUV and US$4,000 for Mini Van. Other categories may fall within US$2,000–4,500; confirm their exact amount before booking. Luxury and Premium SUVs require CDW. The deposit shown for your selected category is separate from the rental total.

If a deposit was required, it is released after the vehicle is returned and applicable fuel, damage, extension or late charges are settled. Ask our team about the release for your rental; the time for the funds to become available also depends on your card issuer.

Other cover and fees

TPL covers third-party property damage caused by a traffic accident up to US$100,000. RA provides roadside assistance. T&W covers damage to tires and vehicle windows. VLF is an operational fee and provides no damage, theft or liability cover. A US$0 collision deductible does not mean that every type of damage or every circumstance is covered; the rental agreement and exclusions still apply.

Rental total and optional extras

The package-page rental total includes the vehicle, your selected package, taxes and selected optional extras for the rental period. The separately displayed protection price is already included in that total. Any required security deposit is shown separately and is not part of the rental price. Review the itemized quote before confirming.

Separate cover and optional extras are available for eligible rentals. Choose a package, then use Optional extras to add separate cover, additional drivers or child seats and booster seats. You can select more than one seat. Items already included in your package are not charged again. The quote updates for your selection and quantities.

Payment

A valid credit card is required to rent and for any required security deposit. Final payment may be made by cash or credit card. Confirm payment arrangements for your booking with our team.

Cancellation and refunds

Contact our team to request changes, an extension or a cancellation. Changes are subject to availability and confirmation. Cancellation deadlines, no-show charges and any refund depend on the conditions of your booking; check your confirmation or ask us before booking.

Pick-up and return locations

Choose Punta Cana (PUJ), Santo Domingo (SDQ) or La Romana (LRM) airports, or Casa de Campo resort (CDC), in the reservation form. Contact our team to confirm your meeting point and handover time.

Returning to a different location is possible when the route is available. Uncheck “Return to the same location” and select your return location. A one-way charge may apply. Review the quote and confirm your return arrangements before booking.

Hotel, villa and office delivery can be arranged. Additional charges apply outside the service area and for delivery more than 10 km from the nearest office. Arrange after-hours returns in advance and confirm any delivery or collection charge with our team.

Fuel policy

The rented vehicle must be returned with the same level of fuel as at the start of the rental period. A refueling fee may apply if the vehicle is returned with less fuel.

Limitation of liability

Prestige Car Rentals is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from the use of the rented vehicle, except as provided by law.

Modification

Prestige Car Rentals reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.

By booking a rental vehicle with Prestige Car Rentals, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
