We collect information from online visitors who ask to be on our newsletter mailing list and/or receive periodic email announcements. Anyone who wishes can choose to be removed from our mailing list at any time.

In addition, online visitors who wish to rent vehicles through our website must provide their name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and credit card information. All credit card transactions occur over a secure connection.

Vehicle GPS and camera data

Depending on the equipment installed, we may collect GPS data about the vehicle’s location and route or record video while the vehicle is being driven during the rental. Depending on where a camera is pointed, footage may capture people in or around the vehicle. Where the law requires consent, we obtain it before collecting these data.

We may use these records to assess driving safety and review traffic incidents, with the aim of protecting drivers, passengers and other road users. If we collect these records, we limit access to authorized personnel who need them for these purposes. We keep the records only as long as needed for these purposes or as required by law.

Information provided through our website is used to respond to rental requests, communicate with customers and complete reservations.

Google Analytics helps us understand visits, vehicle searches and confirmed reservations and may use cookies. For visitors in Europe, we ask permission before starting analytics. Outside Europe, statistics may start automatically. Advertising measurement starts only after you allow both statistics and advertising measurement. Google then receives advertising click identifiers and agreed campaign labels to connect ad visits with bookings. You can choose statistics only, decline both, or change your choice using Privacy preferences in the footer. We respect Global Privacy Control and your saved refusal. Google Signals and personalized advertising remain disabled. Our booking events do not include your name, email, phone number, payment details or the contents of your booking form.

We do not sell or trade your personal information. Google receives the measurement data described above according to your choices.

When statistics are allowed, our own booking system also records the first observed source and later advertising visits and links a snapshot to your customer and reservation records, requested vehicle, confirmed payments and refunds. The acquisition cookie and visit records expire after 90 days without activity; booking snapshots remain with the booking records. Advertising click identifiers require advertising permission. With statistics permission, server-confirmed payment and refund amounts, currency, vehicle category and opaque transaction identifiers may be sent to Google Analytics. These events do not include your name, email, phone, card data or raw customer or reservation numbers. Withdrawing permission stops future measurement and removes the corresponding measurement identifiers from our linked booking snapshots; it does not erase necessary booking or payment records or recall data already received by Google.

All online visitor data collected by Prestige Car Rentals is protected against unauthorized access.

All credit card transactions occur over a secure connection.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 through our website. If we learn that we have collected such information through the website, we will delete it from our systems.

Prestige Car Rentals encourages parents to go online with their kids. Here are a few tips to help make a child’s online experience safer:

• Teach kids never to give personal information, unless supervised by a parent or responsible adult. Includes name, address, phone, school, etc.
• Know the sites your kids are visiting and which sites are appropriate.
• Look for website privacy policies. Know how your child’s information is treated.
